Loki's Little Mischief - a Loki X OC Romance
~Chapter Seventeen~ The Night Watch
It had been strange for Loki, sharing the serpents Auðun had given him with Káta. None of his family had ever been told about their friendship; Odin had not wished to hear Loki’s explanations at the time, deeming them to be excuses and lies, more intent on discovering how Loki had managed to escape the palace. Káta was the first person to see the snakes in all the decades that he had had them. It had made him feel uncomfortably vulnerable at the time, and even now it felt like he had walked into battle without any armour on. Her reaction had allayed decades of compiled fears about the sharing of his most personal feelings and possessions however, but only in regard to her, and unprotected as he now felt, he was inexplicably warm inside, like he had been filled with fresh honey.

A car came around a few moments later and the driver got out and opened the door, waiting for Loki and you to enter. You gave Loki a sideways glance as you walked ahead of him, more than eager to get back to your apartment. The night had been fun…for a time. And though knowing that Loki had not actually left you behind was a relief, you were far from alright with everything that he had put you through. You didn’t bother to look back to even see if he was following you or not, and you really didn’t care.

Despite her tiredness and her dreading for the day to come, the sun ran to catch up with the horizon and before she knew it, it was peeking up over the edge of the dropoff, blasting light into her last night. She sighed and turned over in Loki’s arms to look at him. As always, he was sleeping soundly. He had no idea everything was about to change, and he would remember nothing of the past 3 years. The last thing he would remember was the fight with Thor on the Bifrost the day the observatory fell into the abyss. There was no fight with the Midgardians, no deal with the Chitauri, no warping to Muspelheim. Thor would have pulled him up from the edge of the Bifrost and they would have settled the problems like civilised men, with no running and hiding. The way it should have been.
That was the story they were going to tell him when he woke up, asking what had happened. She lay silently with him taking in every moment. Two and a half years ago when he warped onto Muspelheim, she woul

My first rule is to say, screw rules. Add your art. That is all. How else do you expect to spread the word about the loveliness that is Hiddles?
-Nonmembers can still submit art.
-If you have a problem, like join requests are closed or something (which they should not be because I thought I fixed that a thousand times) I'd prefer you let me know on my dA page, m'kay?
-Join requests are automagically accepted as well as all deviations.
-To avoid confusion, we only use the Featured folder. I know you love me for that. I love you more. Just know I maintain it at a gallery size of 20 pages on the lowest deviation viewing setting of 24 per page. This is to avoid gallery over flow.
-Don't watch us, join us. Even if you don't plan on submitting any art. We want the world to understand the extent of the Hiddles fanbase.
-There's no limit on the amount of deviations that can be posted, so submit away.
